This is the page of models, or specific examples of vernacular types. Although the name might generate some confusion with the idea of scale-model or maquette, I will call these examples "models" until finding a better term (some people would call them "typological versions," but it sounds too complicated for an online project).
The idea of "model" is related to that of "type." Type would be a building structure whose characteristics remain more or less constant, accross different models. Model would be one out of many variations or interpretations of the type rules. As a way of example, the scheme shown represents different models of turreted houses, which belong to the same Victorian type.

This 3D model is based on observing and roughly measuring different Zinc Houses in the area of San Pablo and Siehuaya (Ecuador), following in particular one of them that featured a prototypical shape and proportions.
