Place USA - Pennsylvania - Philadelphia. South Street Bridge.
Description UPenn's Romanesque-looking Franklin Field, seen from the east, on South Street coming from Center City. By the time I took this picture I had just realized that there were just a few weeks left before I would leave Philly, so I began a sistematic architecture picture-taking activity every weekend. I got a couple thousand shots, but Philadelphia's built landscape is so rich that until the very last day I was realizing which buildings had I missed, while telling myself that I would surely go back and photograph them. Probably it doesn't matter if you never go back, just believing it makes the departure much easier.
