Description |
Building with bamboo as an alternative to the extinction of hard woods? Sounds like a good idea. However, it definitely depends on the context. Indeed, the idea is absolutely feasible at a structural, economic, and environmental level, but it might be problematic at a social level. What if, despite all of its apparent advantages, people just don't like the material? What makes you think that you are right and they are not? The theme is very complex and needs careful consideration. The workshop with the Secoya indigenous was quite valuable for María Victoria and I, as it made us wonder about what is ideal versus what is real in the field of environmentalism.
